Moms of girls, come in (possible TMI)
Miki was saying that her but hurt. I knew she meant her vagina. I checked it out and it is all red, not on the inside but the outside "lips" 
any home remedies?

Maybe try diaper cream - the clear Desitin? Not sure, but that's what I would try first.

Lauren's gets like that sometimes too, we use the Bordeaux's Butt Cream on it and it goes away just like a diaper rash.

My niece would get this every so often and my sister would put diaper cream on it.

Sometimes dd complains I think because she is not wiping well. we go right to the triple paste and the toddler wet wipes when dd gets like that. It usually clears up in a day.

I just posted about this a month or so ago. DD was in a LOT of pain. I took her to the doc and she said it was a yeast infection (not like an adult's, since it's on the outside). She prescribed a cream and it went away in a day or two.

DD had this awhile back and I put desitin on and it worked. I think it was from her not wiping herself properly especially at preschool. I asked the ped and he agreed and he also said to be sure to not put any bath wash in the tub when she is sitting there to only use it when its time for her to wash.

She might just be irritated down there, it could also be east infection , my friends 4 YO DD just had it few weeks ago. You can try and let her sit in oat bath for 5 minutes or so , not too long ( "Aveeno Active Naturals Soothing Bath Treatment") or wash her down with it and then apply destine, or if you have chamomile tea, take few bags and soak them in hot water for few minutes ,just like you would make tea , then wash her down with it (once it's cool of course ;) )and apply destine .
