Moms of girls...regarding bathing suits...

How do you get the sand out that's stuck in the bathing suit material??

We went to the beach ALL day yesterday and there is so much sand stuck in the material of the suit. I'm not talking about in the liner...

I washed it and now that it's dry I can spread the suit and it kind of comes out, but I'm stretching the suit and it seems to be getting all weird.

Just wondering if anyone had any tricks to getting it out otherwise

It usually comes out of my DDs suits in the washing machine. I put them in a lingerie bag and just toss them in. It seems to mostly come out of the fabric.

I can't help, as I've never brought Lily to the beach Chat Icon , but I hope you're not talking about that adorable one-shouldered bathing suit....because I love that one!

I haven't run into that yet although DD spends most of her time walking around rather than sitting. I also change her swimsuit at least once during the day so she isn't in a wet suit all day.

Maybe try washing it a few times? I hope you get it out!

I have that problem too. Chat Icon I'm washing one right now - trying the lingerie bag in the washing machine trick. I have it on gentle cycle. I'll let you know if it works.

That happened with one of DD's suits too. I have washed it a few times and it is just starting to come out. So annoying!!
