I get a kick out of this because my dd was born a wopping 9lbs 4 oz and is now 18 lbs at 8 months. I guess your baby is gaining wonderfully!

My peanut was 16 lbs even. This concerned me, but I looked in my old baby book and he is exactly where I was in terms of height and weight at each age!

hah- mee too. mine was 8 pounds when she was born, and at 9 months weighs all of 17 pounds. and thats with me feeding her tons or avocado, yobaby, pasta and butter etc. i wish i had her metabolism

I guess Maddie is "small" as people keep commenting on how tiny she is.
At her 9 month well check she weighed 17 lbs, 13oz.

Hmmm, I guess DD is destined to be a porker  , since at 5 months she is 16 pounds (birth weight was 7 lbs).

born at 7lbs 2oz...at 9 months about 14lbs...at a year she is only just under 16lbs...

DD was 5lbs 14oz at birth- and is about a week away from being 9 months- and if I had to guess, she probably weighs around 16lbs.
