Moms of Toddlers/Preschoolers....
DO you feel like its becoming a task to keep your kids busy?
Ever since my son hit 3 years old, he is ALWAYS looking for something fun to do.... I just ordered the book " Preschooler's Busy Book" by Trish Kuffner- It had great reviews on Amazon...
I'll let anyone who is interested know if it was worth it!
In the mean time, can you share any fun crafts/activities you do with your children?

Re: Moms of Toddlers/Preeschoolers....
Oh boy, Ava just turned 2 and thinks it's my sole responsibility to keep her entertained. While I like playing with her, I feel like my entire day is consumed with doing headstands for her the past couple of weeks. I need to stop and get some things that she can entertain herself with. I do not want to create a monster that needs to be entertained all the time. That being said, the thing I've found that keeps Ava totally busy for a long time is when we're outside and I need to get some work done, I give her a clean paint brush and a pail of water and tell her to "paint" the driveway. She totally thinks she's painting And it dries quickly in the sun, so it's a never-ending task for her to try to finish

Re: Moms of Toddlers/Preschoolers....
If I take her outside she can entertain herself fairly well - sidewalk chalk, jugs of paint, water, bubbles, baby pool and sprinkler all keep her fairly entertained. We also have a vegetable garden so that can keep her entertained for some time as well - tending to it, picking the tomatoes, etc.
Inside, we do a lot of singing, dancing, puzzles, changing baby's diaper, dress up, etc. She gets bored VERY easily when we're inside.
