moms of two month olds??
What are you doing to entertain/play with baby....and what does your typical day look like. I sometimes wonder if I should be doing more with DS....we do have a schedule down but I worry about him not doing enough, especially now that other people wil lbe watching him througohout the day..I know that sounds crazy at two months old, but after reading about all these milestones, I want to be sure I am doing the right things to help him reach them, if that makes sense???
I swear in the last eight weeks I have aged ten years, my constant worry must end!!!

Re: moms of two month olds??
well DD is 3 months old but a month ago we still weren't doing too much... put her on the playmat, talk to her, sing, she sits in her bouncy and watches me and her older sister play/read... she watches TV with her sister... I dance with her, do tummy time... There's not much at 2 months besides that stuff...

Re: moms of two month olds??
ds is almost 2 months. i was thinking of the same thing but he sleeps most of the time. when he is awake, sometimes i'll put him on the bouncer which he gets entertain for a few minutes. but most of the times, i usually just talk to him.
i'm interested to see what the other mommies say.

Re: moms of two month olds??
We have no schedule at all. I dont really understand how other moms get a baby so young on a schedule because DD is all over the place. When she is awake most of the time I talk to her and she coos back to me and smiles. OR I put her in her seat and have her watch me or whatever else she feels like looking at. I sing to her, put her down for tummy time(which she hates). We put her in her swing or I shake a toy in front of her is she seems interested or put her under an Elmo entertainment thing because she likes to watch the lights. Or I show her pictures from a book. Mostly we just talk to each other though and I watch her try to copy the words I am saying and I repeat back whatever noise she comes out with. Thats what she likes to do the most. Oh yeah, and once in awhile Ill roll her over a few times to help her figure out what she is supposed to do.
