i found the gerber ones to be too thin, i was still leaking. i liked the avent ones, they are on the thicker side but i never had any problems with them showing thru my shirt, but that could be because i always wore a padded bra Chat Icon

lansinoh pads were the best for me.

I leaked a lot. They were the only one that I did not leak through.

lansinoh and medela. both are thin but medela absorbs more i think. lansinoh is softer.

I got the thick washable kind. Medela brand I think. The leaking can be pretty bad in the beginning.

I highly recommend getting only padded nursing bras. I tell this to all of my new mom friends. My nursing pads would always show through shirts with regular thinner bra cups.

I also recommend getting a sleep bra for at night.

ITA! They are my favorite and I think cheaper than Medela.
Medela are good too.

I tried Gerber....thin, but never stayed in place and I leaked through! What a waste!

Johnson and Johnson are the best for me! I found Medela to be bulky under shirts.

Re: Moms that breastfeed--which nursing pads do you use?

I used Avent in the beginning and I hated them.
I switched to the Medela ones and even though they are thin, which was great for under clothes, they were very absorbent.

I tried the Avent, the Gerber, the Medela and the Lansinoh. I stuck with the Lansinoh.
