Moms that own a Marathon/or Decathlon and have an SUV
Do you just clip the clips on each side to the latch system? Do you also do something with the back belt? (I'm talking about for rear-facing)....the book is unclear to me.....one page says to use it if u have a latch anchor on the floor (which I don't) and on another page it says to find something sturdy to tie it to....I'm confused......I just installed the Decathlon in my car yesterday...i already have a marathon.....and both are pretty much the same but I feel like it isn't sturdy enough with just the clips.

I have the Marathon and when it was rear facing, we just used the latch connectors and did not use the back tether (we do not have a floor anchor). When I faced it forward, I used the latch and then the back tether is attached to the floor in the back of my SUV (it goes over the headrest to the back).

We have the Marathon and it is still rear-facing and we just used the latch straps. I think it was REALLY easy to get it in there SUPER tight. However when we turn it around the tethers in my car are on the ceiling of the car towards the back near the hatch. So I'll probably attach there just for the extra security.
