Moms who co-sleep
What do you do in the morning when the alarm clock goes off- and you have to get up and start getting ready for the day or for work...
Ryan has been sleeping with us lately since he hasnt been feeling well- but Im finding the morning to be a real issue-
As soon as the alarm clock goes off- we are going crazy to turn it off so it dosent wake him- and then when I have to get in the shower Im trying to put him back in his crib- but he really isnt having any of that- and 5am is way too early for him to be up- (nor does he wanna be up) I cant leave him alone - everythings fine when Im home- since I just lay in bed with him- but on days I have to work- im at a loss...

The alarm clock could go off forever and neither DH or Ryan move. He sleeps like his Dad.
ETA: I do put a pillow next to him so he doesnt notice I am missing.

See Im scared Ryan will wake up and decide he is just gonna "walk off" the bed...

We shut the alarm off quickly, and then I put a pillow next to her so she doesnt roll off and it feels like Im still there.

Well I dont work, but DH does and when the alarm goes off, I jump up and Julia is still asleep, I swear a bomb could go off and she would still be sleeping--lol Anyway, when DH gets out of bed I just put a pillow next to her so she wont roll off, and when I get up I just put pillows on both sides of her, Julia doesnt really move a lot when she wakes up, she just sits up and yells MAMA! to let me know shes awake.
Do you both have to get up at the same time? If your DH has to leave before you, maybe u can wait till hes ready before you get up, then he can watch Ryan while you get ready.
