Moms who had kids with coxsackie...

If you or your DH got it after your DC what were your symptoms - we think DH caught it from DD - he had a high fever (103.5) sore throat - the doctors weren't 100% sure it was coxsackie (but he only had a fever when he saw them) but it was not strep (test was negative). DD had a high fever and sores in her throat when she had it.

Yesterday I got the worst sore throat ever on one side - it is excruciating. No fever at all or any other symptoms. Since I was taking care of DD then DH I haven't been out so I'm trying to figure out if that is what I have or something else.

if your dd had it, that's probably what both of you have. the different symptoms are likely because you both are immune to it to some degree (we've all had it by this age).

Im pretty sure that you can get it and not have it full blown...

My girls had Roseola...but all they had was the high fever with no other symptoms...they never developed the rash. The only reason why we ever knew what it was was b/c when Caden got it he got the rash.
