Mom's who have been to Disney with a baby
We are leaving to Disney on Wed staying on Disney property. We will have a car but I want to avoid having to take a trip off the property for baby items soooo.....my questions are do they sell baby food on Disney? What about gallons of water? I think I'm going to bring Powder instead of ready to feed with me but can I buy gallons of water in Disney? Should I bring baby food with me also or can you buy on Disney? What brands do they sell? Thank You.

We used Garden Grocer to have stuff delivered right to the Polynesian. It was there waiting for us. Very convenient. It is like Peapod.

Re: Mom's who have been to Disney with a baby
We were at Disney world in june - stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. I don't remember ever seeing baby food in the shop. The food selection is very limited - a few bags of chips, soda, water (reg size bottles). We went to a local grocery store and bought apple juice and a few staples, bought a case of aquafina at a walgreens for like $6 and we were set for a week. HTH!!!

Just there in August, I dont remember seeing any baby food anywhere. The closest thing to toddler food in the parks was peanut butter and jelly/milk/chocolate milk but not baby food.

Re: Mom's who have been to Disney with a baby
We will be at disney at the same time!! We leave Sat!
We are renting a car and are just going to do a quick shop when DD is napping (we are going with my parents so we have an extra set of hands to watch her).
Garden Grocer is supposed to be really good and like peapod- there is a another service like that but a women does the shopping and will go to multiple stores to get you what you want - I can't remember the name but could look it up for you.
The stores have some supplies but think of it as any hotel shop - very expensive and more for forgotten items than for shopping.

We were there when DD was 5 months. There isn't any baby food in Disney. My mom has Disney timeshare and you can give them a list of things you want from the grocery store and they will have it in your room when you get there. I'm not sure if they do this with all disney resorts or just the timeshare ones.
We just made a quick trip to Wal-mart to pick up everything we needed.
I also know some people have gone on diapers.com and had stuff delivered to the hotel. I'm not sure if the disney hotels will accept deliveries though.

Re: Mom's who have been to Disney with a baby
We are hoping to go in January. I plan on shipping diapers and wipes and any "bulkier" items to our resort ahead of time. We also figure since we probably won't be hitting a park during the day on arrival day, that we'll hit Walmart for the milk, food, water essentials that we want in the room.
I am taking Garden Grocer's information - just in case....

Where is the walmart - we are trying to figure out where to go for supplies - is it just a regular walmart or does it have food etc - we want to get diapers, snacks, yogurt, fruit, milk for DD and breakfast for the room for us.
