Did you bring a poopy diaper with you in case they needed to test for anything?

we werent told to, but DS pooped a big one while we were in the office so we got lucky with that..LOL

No. The GI doc brought in a q-tip like "instrument" (for lack of a better word) and inserted it in his tushy and then placed it in a vial and told us there was no blood in his stool. I had already taken a poopie diaper to his ped and they had also told me no blood in the stool.

No I wish b/c we had on and off issues. Instead they gave us a Stool guaiac test and the wooden sticks. So I had to collect it myself.

We've only brought one when they've told us to. Unfortunately for your DC they'll probably do a rectal exam which will provide a stool sample as well.

Yes, but they told us a fresh sample so it had to be from the day of the apt or the day before. Luckley my DD pooped right before we left for the apt.
