Moms who were induced or had scheduled c/s...
What was your hair and makeup situation like the day you went in?
If I make it to my due date (next Tuesday), I am scheduled for a repeat "C." I was thinking of getting my hair blown out that morning (if I have peace of mind, that is!)...is it worth it? Also, I don't wear a lot of makeup on a normal basis (blush, mascara, lipstick is about it), but do I bother with any of it?
Probably sounding like a total diva, which I am soooo not, but I want to be presentable, you know??

I went in the night before for my induction. Took a shower in the am at hospital, blew my hair out, put on a full face of makeup. The nurses and Dr's were all telling me how pretty I was throughout the induction Such a diva

I didn't have a scheduled c section and my water broke that morning. I showered, shaved and did my hair and makeup before I left the house...all while I was having contractions...

I went in at night for an induction, I skipped the makeup (because I knew I'd be wearing it for a while before I would get a chance to wash my face) but blew out my hair before going in. I looked like such a mess by the time I delivered, and I don't think makeup would have helped that. But maybe it would be different with a c-section.

I went in the early am for an induction. I blew out my hair the night before, skipped the makeup. I was a big mess afterwards too and I did end up with a c-section. The blowout was a total waste for me.
