Mom's with 2 car seats - what kind of car do you drive?
I need a new car with more room. With 2 car seats and a double stroller, my car just isn't big enough. I would like an SUV that allows an adult to sit in the backseat with the 2 carseats. Third row optional, but desirable.
Looking for ideas and recommendations!

believe it or not, I bet my prius could fit 2 carseats, and would allow for 1 passenger back there.... the trunk area is also likely roomy enough for a double stroller... but with a front passenger included, the car would be packed at that point.
I have a convertible in the center, and have had 2 passengers in the back with the seat.

I don't have 2 carseats yet  But I'm definately getting a minivan when I do! It's SO easy to get in and out with kids in car seats. I never thought I would get one, but after renting one in Florida I'm sold!!

We have a Honda CR-V. If we put both seats next to each other, someone could sit on the side. It is a tight fit though. We've only done it when my mother is in town.
I make trips to the grocery store and Target with the double stroller in the back.

i have a ford explorer i seat in the back comfortably. the car also has a 3rd row. I love my car, even if it is a gas gozler. I have one friend who has the Pilot and has two big full boster seat and she also fit comfortably, she LOVES her car.

2004 Escalade ESV with 3rd row. There are captains seats in the second row which is where their carseats are. And no we are not rappers as my 14 year old nephew says

I don't have the 2 car seats yet (in September) but I just bought an explorer too and I love it. Very roomy.

We lived with just two car seats in one car, a Toyota Camry, for over a year... double stroller in the trunk.
We have since bought a mini-van as well.
Not much room for anything else. You can do a light grocery shopping but it's so much easier to run errands w/o 2 kids.

I recommend the Acura MDX
We have 2 car seats in the middle row, there is an optional 3rd row and the cargo spot holds groceries, bugaboo etc

Saturn has a really nice SUV and a lot of people have the Mazda. I personally caved and got a Caravan which I love but we will soon have three carseats...ahhh.

I have the Honda Pilot. I have 2 carseats back there and a person can fit in between with plenty of cargo space which I was most concerned about. My issue with the minivan is that it has a lot of seating but not enough cargo space for trips IMO.

We got the Honda Pilot and love it. I fit in between them and have hopped back there from the front with no issues. I wouldn't say a heavy person can fit once you get 2 convertible seats. It does have a 3rd row, but no trunk if you use it. I've never put it up.

we just bought a jeep commander for our second baby's arrival.....it has the third row....
we got the v-6 to save a little on gas and we love it....we also have a jeep liberty.....
we don't actually have the two car seats in yet...this weekend!, but they will def. fit!

I dont have 2 carseats yet, but I bought a Jeep Commander for when baby #2 comes. It has 3rd row seating and plenty of room.

I have the GMC Envoy - I love it. Its really roomy and if you saw what my trunk looks like and the mass amount of stuff I have in it ..... whoah
Mine is an 03 - hoping to "upgrade" and get another Envoy. I hear good things about the Acadia as well and I *think* it gets better gas mileage.
