Moms with DC with wide feet where did you
find winter boots? I can't find them anywhere (not even Stride Rite had her size.) She's a 6.5w. I want to get them online - any suggestions?? someone help. I know the first real snow is going to come and all she has is shoes

I feel your pain. I still need to get Lily's too and she's also got wide feet. Ugh!!! I wish I had some suggestions. I was thinking of trying the regular width and hope that they fit, but that's probably not such a good idea since her poor little tootsies will be all squished and that will make her cranky.

I couldn't find them anywhere!! My DS is a 6.5w and I got him a 7 and they seem ok on him. He wore them a little while the other day and he seemed fine

DS is only 10 mos old so still smaller (4W) but we've found his shoes on eBay.
You can also narrow down on Zappos.com to all girls shoes in a 6.5W; they should have something too.

I had to do the same last year, I just ended up getting a size bigger because I couldnt find any boots that were wide. It worked out fine though, she didnt complain.

My son was always a wide foot - still is, but they don't make snow boots in wide. I always just bought him his regular size in the boots and never had a problem. I was told that the snow boots run wide anyway.
