moms with kids in size 5, 6 or 7 diapers
DS is 2.5 years old and weights about 33 pounds...
he is in size 5 diapers but i just tried size 6, i see no difference in the fit from 5 to 6
I buy generic diapers from cvs or walgreens.... they (both the size 5 and 6) have been falling off of him - meaning the sticky part is in sticking well and falling off of him. I don't feel its a quality issue just he's a big boy...
should i try a different brand?? a bigger size?? any suggestions?

Re: moms with kids in size 5, 6 or 7 diapers
I am usually a generic buyer myself but I have found my DS who is also 33 lbs and is 2 1/2 needs a little better diaper. I find the generic diapers don't have tabs with elastic in them. Fine for my skinny minnie daughter when she was in diapers but he needs more. One brand that is reasonably priced and has the elastic is Luvs. I bought some the other day at Waldbaums bc they were on super sale and they work great. He's in a Size 6 and they are bigger than other 6's but I think it's the elastic. I just can't bring myself to buy Pampers or Huggies unless they are on super sale, they are just so expensive. PT starts after the holidays and then I'm done for life since he's my youngest

I use Luvs and they work great. My DD has a big butt and belly and I never have problems with the velcro. I find the best prices at Walmart or BJ's on them. Or Target with a coupon.

Have you tried the Costo brand diapers? I haven't had any problems with those. My DS wears a size 5. He is 19mths, 34+ inches, 28+ lbs. (We're just about to go for our well visit so I'm estimating from the last one that was 3 months ago.)
