Monitors

Did you, or are you, registering for a video monitor. It seems like a great idea, but is it really necessary do you think?

Re: Monitors

my friend has the summer night vision one and it is great - she loves it (its got a handheld part with a screen or you can just listen in!) - she doesn't have any problems with interference or anything...she is always able to peek in at her daughter wihtout waking her at night or while she is napping and anytime she hears a noise or something, she can visually check on her too!

We registered for the same one b/c we loved how well it works...even if no one buys it for us, we will probably buy it ourselves!

Re: Monitors

I bought a video monitor when Mallory was a couple months old and it was the BEST thing I got! There were sooo many times that I would here her moving around or fussing a little bit and I knew that if I walked in the room that she would be awake at that was it.... it gave me such piece of mind to be able to actually see what she was doing and that she was ok! It's still great now and she's 17 months, it's fun to watch her playing in her crib in the morningChat Icon

Re: Monitors

I have the Summer and I highly recommend it. Let me tell you I can see my daughter breathe on camera. Saves me a million trips to check on her in her crib during the day. Another mom posted that she caught her son on video just before he climbed out of the crib and saved him. IMHO its one of the most necessary items!
