Re: Monkeybride!
I am so sorry to hear that!! It has not been easy at all. We are off the Zantac because it didn't seem to be helping her. We got a prescription today for Prilosec Suspension. Hopefully that will work if not the next step is a Pediatric GI doctor and scopes and such. I really hope it doesn't come to that.
I found this website so far to be the most informative and the message boards have really compassionate moms with a wealth of knowledge. Here's the link:

FM me anytime. Antoinette's son has reflux also. Maybe we can all support each other because a reflux baby is a lot more work than the average baby.

Re: Monkeybride!
Sorry to butt in here....but I just want to let you know that a few years ago i had sever eacid reflux and they put me on numerous medicines to try and fix it (even steriods). They then gave me Propulsid which literally changed my quality of living in a day (I was literally sitting at home crying most nights from the pain). After a week I was off the medicine and okay. I had a relapse, they put me back on it and all was good.
About two years ago they pulled Propulsid from the market saying that it caused heart problems. I still to this day keep a stash in my medicine cabinet. I recently saw a whole segment on it on the Today show and they said they reason the pulled it is that it was causing death in babies and seniors.
While they can't give your babies propulsid anymore, just be careful. Acid reflux is not heartburn...its a horrible condition and I can understand in a way what your babies must be going through. But please, please, please don't let doctors keep giving them every antibotic in the book to see what happens. Ask a lot of questions and do a lot of research.
Good luck. I hope they find something to fix this problem in people. Propulsid did it for me and i can only hope they can find something to do it with babies and the elderly.
