More bleeding... 16 weeks appt
background... last weekend I had an episode, severe cramping and three wipes worth of bloody mucus. Went to the doc last Monday and he said everything was ok but agreed to put me on pelvic rest (I heard about that from someone here)
This morning (not first tinkle) I go wee and wipe blood again, but this time its only a little.
So since I had an appt I figured I'd ask then.
Well doc was out sick so I got his backup (nice lady) and told her... I don't eat, I can't breathe and I bled again.
Both Jim and I remember hearing my doc say something about being 'low' last time we saw him. Now I know why
I have a low lying placenta. I have blood in urine (they sent it off for tests) I am on pelvic rest
My coughing (been really bad lately, nearly gagging and pretty violent) may have caused friction which will make my placenta bleed and as well as may be a yeast infection or maybe a UTI
*sigh*
AND I gained no weight
But the critter's still in there kicking so I guess that's good news right
I posted separately about my AFP results.
Anyone else have this kind results (in general)?

Re: More bleeding... 16 weeks appt
I started bleeding when I was 5 weeks along. I had heavy cramping and a heavy bleed for a couple of days. When I went for my sonos everything was fine. I continued to spot until I was 21 wks pregnant. No cause was ever found, but now I have a beautiful baby girl .
Hope it all works out!
