More clomid questions.. finished my first 5 days!

So i finished the first round of clomid, Thing is I was sick as a dog since Monday, so my temps have been way high! normailly i'm at 97.4 or lower the past 3-4 days i've been between 98.6 - 101.4. I've been doing the BBT chart but i obviously can't count those days right??? How is this going to affect the chart and trying to figure out when i O??? Now i'm really confused.. or should i just got get OPK's? I wasn't going to but now i think i need to??

Any thoughts???

if you know what your "normal" pre-O temps generally are (sounds like the low 97's), once you are no longer sick, your temp should go back to pre-O and you can pretty much ignore the sick temps.

it takes 3 days of elevated temps to confirm ovulation so once it goes back to normal, the next shift is probably your O shift.

however, temping doesnt tell you PRIOR to Oing - it just confirms it after. so if you dont know when you are going to O and are concerned you might miss it - temping wont help until you know the pattern, and even then meds screw up temping so you might want to think about OPKs or at least monitoring CM.

if you are on clomid are you being monitored by a doctor?
