More Light Needed
Our living room/dining room is really dark - even with three lamps. The previous owners never put in an overhead light - there are just outlets. Is there any way I can bring more light without having to get an electrician in there? I have one area that has no lamp and a free outlet - but is there an alternative to lamps? How do wall sconces work?
Thanks!

Re: More Light Needed
I am not really a big fan of the way they look, but hallogen lamps provide an enormous amount of light. Maybe you could look for a stylish one!
Wall sconces will require an electrician if you dont want the wire showing down the wall.....
