Aria is lighter
but does not have as many features as the pliko...recline on pliko is further, pliko is sturdier...
come in same patterns though
The salespeople at babies r us were very helpful

I was asking the same question- then referred to my trusty baby bargains book.
The aria is not made in italy, the p3 is.
The aria they say is not as sturdy and not made as well as the p3..
