More unemployment questions

Sorry this is my first time claiming benefits so I don't know the process and the FAQs don't answer all my questions.

I put the claim in today so I can't log on till tomorrow. Will my authorization info be there online, or do I have to wait for the letter they mail me to see if I was approved?

Can I add direct deposit info online? That link isn't working right now.

Are you allowed to have a PO box as a mailing address?

After I put in my claim, I entered my direct deposit info, and within a week or so I got my first deposit. My company approved it right away so I didn't have to deal with them challenging it or anything. The money was in there before I even realized it! When I went back, it showed up online under my payments. I didn't get a letter until afterwards. That was over a year ago, but it went very quick.

I am not sure about the P.O. box thing but I wouldn't think that would be a problem as a lot of people use that for their mail.

I just dealing with all of this.

I filed online...a few days later I got a letter stating what my benefit was. I think there is a standard one unpaid waiting week.

You can't use a PO Box I used my mom's address.

I went on weekly to claim my benefits.

It took 3 weeks to get my first direct deposit. The second deposit went in 2 days after I filed for that week.

Then I got a job, so I have stopped claiming
