Mortgage payment question
I am really nervous b/c I made an online payment that never went through. I think I may have typed in the wrong routing number. Now there is a late fee etc. I am going to call tomorrow and hope they give us a one time courtesy. Is this going to show up on a credit report?
I REALLY HOPE NOT!!!!!! We are extra careful about paying our bills and I don't want this to affect us. TIA .

It shouldnt show up on your credit report unless you are 30 days past the due date.

a similar thing happened to me. Call the mortgage company and they should credit you the late payment as a one time courtesy. It won't go on your credit report until you start missing payements totally.
