mortgage vent!!!!!!!
im so frustrated, i called citimortgage to speak to someone about lowering my mortgage.....i got no where! i asked what were my options and basically she gave 2 options : 1-refinance 2-hardship assistance."thank you have a nice day! " maybe its me i thought banks would be a lil more eager to help homeowners and i thought my options would be endless

Citimortgage sucks--they got their bailout cash and are one of the hardest to negotiate with.
But better days are coming hopefully.

you signed a contract for x,y and z terms. if they do you a favor, they must do every one a favor. everybody could then claim to have problems to save money which will in turn cost them money.
citibank when i had them for 3 years was nothing but great to me. a lot of people are in your position and they are other ways or things to cut back...

Suze Orman was on the today show, on tuesday, saying that it's people who are on time with their mortgage and paying thier debt back as agreed to in their contract that are having issues now and banks should really do all they can to help those people.
i can't find it anywhere on line. but i am still searching
