Mortgages for teachers?
Anyone know of any banks that do special mortgages for teachers? I just got word that our contracts were signed :)

Chase offered us one as well. He said as long as you are in a union at your school you get the discounted rate.

I think I have heard Bank of NY or Bank of America (can't remember which)
What about your credit union? they have better rates usually, but won't approve you for as much as other places (which is a good thing sometimes)

They do, and my DH is a bank manager for them so feel free to FM me if you want more info. Also, they are a vendor on these boards, so you can write to them on the vendors helping families board.
