Morton's Steak House?
Has anyone eaten there?
We're going there Saturday for our anniversary. We live in Colorado so we'll be eating at the one out here but I just wanted to know how people who have eaten there liked it.
DH has been to the one in Chicago and really loved it but then went to one in California and wasn't as impressed. Said it was still really good but not as good.

Re: Morton's Steak House?
Every locale is probably a little bit different. So its tough to tell unless you know someone that has been to that specific one (in this case the one in Great Neck).
Ruth's Chris for example... I LOVE the one in DC. The one in SF and Chicago are ok.
But I went to the one on Old Country Road and it was HORRIBLE!

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. I am going to ask some friends around here if they have been. Oh well we'll live and learn I guess and hopefully it will be a worthwhile anniversary dinner.

I have actually heard pretty good things about Mortons. Haven't been there yet though so i can't say for sure.

The one in here Chicago is really good.
But I agree with DJPill each one may be different. Must be something about Ruth Chris',..... I love the one in Ft Lauderdale and DC but was not impressed with the one in Toronto.

Re: Morton's Steak House?
We got a GC for our engagement and so we went there - the food was good and the service was good too. We agreed the steak at Peter Luger's was a little better, but that's our fave so I can't compare.

Re: Morton's Steak House?
I've been to a Morton's in Jersey with some clients -- they make a big show of it and aren't we special and yadda yadda..... It was good, but not spectacular. But as everyone says, may depend on each locale - although I know most of their products they buy for all the restaurants through one supplier (that's where I come in!! )
