Mosquito repellent

Just wondering if anyone uses mosquito repellent on their DC.

We're going camping next week and I don't really feel comfortable putting mosquito repellent on DD who will be 10 months.

Is there anything out there that is safe to use??

Re: Mosquito repellent

maybe you could check into those bracelets. They work great, not sure about using them on kids, but if they are safe you could always put it on the ankle or on the stroler or something.

Re: Mosquito repellent

What about avon Skin so soft, or one of the one's in the store that have citronella or other "natural" ingredents.

Maybe call your DC's Dr. and see what they say.

Re: Mosquito repellent

We use the California Baby spray...its not as good as Off, but it works well enough that we can go outside during the day (I live very close to the water in mosquito heaven)

Re: Mosquito repellent

I think as long as it's deet-free, it's okay. What about something that isn't a spray? We've used mosquito repellent wipes. I think Off makes them. I've also used lotion in the past, but it smelled horrific.
