Mothers Milk Tea ?
I bought last night, Ive had a major drop in my supply... didnt notice really until yesterday when my peds said my dd didnt gain enough from last appointment.
I drank a cup last night with ice in it (I cant get hot liquids down, and the container says its okay to drink, hot or iced). I have not seen any increase yet.
My questions are:
1. How long does it take before seeing results?
2. How often should I drink it?
3. Do you think putting in ice will lower its effectiveness?
First dairyfree diet and now my supply is cr@p.. I really was hoping to make it to at least cereal before having to stop.

Re: Mothers Milk Tea ?
I never tried the tea, but I use More Milk Plus liquid supplement, and it worked wonders. I noticed the difference after 2 doses. They sell it at Whole Foods & some health stores.

Re: Mothers Milk Tea ?
I was drinking about 4-5 cups per day. Maybe if you try using 2 tea bags if you are drinking it with ice, this way it's not diluted?
I had to stop using it because it was making me VERY gassy and I noticed when I was drinking the tea, DD was very gassy as well.
I had better results using the More Milk Plus (you can find it in Whole Foods).

Re: Mothers Milk Tea ?
I never tried the milk tea but I drank lots, lots of water, took fenugreek and ate old fashion oatmeal. I noticed a huge increase. Best of luck.

Re: Mothers Milk Tea ?
they do carry it...the tea works, but not as well, and its a different company,, since you have the tea for now, i would suggest doubling up on the bags, each time you drink it (3 times a day) but if youre going to whole foods, make sure you get the elixir of mothers milk plus, NOT the pill form...the elixir works in literally A DAY!

Re: Mothers Milk Tea ?
I would take 3-4 teas per day and would notice a difference 2 days later. I would do it when I noticed a slow down in milk production.

Re: Mothers Milk Tea ?
Definitely double it! I know you hate tea...you should definitely try the drops. Have you tried pumping to increase your supply a little? I hope it all works out!
