Motrin dosage question
When giving your child Motrin do you go by the weight or age? On the bottle it says:
12-17 lbs/ 6-11 mos: 1.25ml
18-23 lbs/12-23 mos: 1.875ml
Stephanos is 6.5 mos old but weighs almost 19lbs. What do I do? Thanks!

You almost always go by weight when dosing medication for children.

Thanks! I went with the weight and gave him 1.85ml and he finally fell asleep.
