Mount Sinai Hospital Directions needed please...
I have to be at Mt Sinai Hosp at 9:30 am tomorrow. Im traveling from Riverhead. Any idea what time I should leave and how in the hel l do I get there??? Everyone Ive asked has a different idea and Im confused. I couldnt drive my way out of a wet paper bag when it comes to the city. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

I'm a fan of google maps and this is what I got...
Drive: 74.0 mi – about 1 hour 31 mins

1. Head southwest on RT-25 toward Linda Ave 0.7 mi
2. Continue on CR-58 1.3 mi
3. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto CR-58 W 2.5 mi
4. Merge onto I-495 W/Long Island Expy S via the ramp to New York 63.4 mi
5. Take exit 22A to merge onto Grand Central Pkwy W 5.0 mi
6. Merge onto I-278 E 0.3 mi
7. Take exit 45 toward 31 St 0.2 mi
8. Merge onto Astoria Blvd N/I-278-TRUCK E 236 ft
9. Turn left at 31st St 0.3 mi
10. Turn right at 30th Ave 0.2 mi
To: Mt Sinai Hospital of Queens
2510 30th Ave
Astoria, NY 11102
I just went to google maps and typed "Riverhead" in the "start from" box and Mt. Sinai Hospital NYC in the "end" box.
It's good b/c they give you a map of where you're going also and so you can see exactly where you need to go.
Check it out, you'll thank me for it.
ETA: I am NOT a fan of MapQuest, I've often found that they are not accurate or the most direct.

Not sure what time you traveled to NYC but that is prime rush hour. Whatever you decide add at least another 30-40 mins, one disabled car or accident could mess everything up.
