Movement - difference between baby #1 and baby#2
DS was a pretty mellow baby in utero and as an infant. Even now as a young toddler he is usually pretty content to sit and watch.
When I was pregnant with him, he was active in the early morning and late at night, but would only move here and there during the day.
With DD - OMG. She is NON STOP. Always going! It's cool, but at the same time, I am scared - I really think I am in for it when she gets here

Although naturally I have no qualifications to answer this question, I think our DD's might be stealing our cell phones in the middle of the night to come up with sinister plans for bad behavior. This is because our DD's sound alike. Miss Bean is lately putting some thought into kicking-like kicking dopplers off or kicking her big brothers Tigger and Skittles.
Yeah, we might be in for it!

Yes DD #2 is so active I think she's trying to find an alternate escape route I think. I had asked my midwife about it she said something about our uterus already being stretched from a previous pregnancy makes us more sensitive to the movement.

Re: Movement - difference between baby #1 and baby#2
Dh and I were actually talking about this last night. Kaydyn moved but not a ton and she is a VERY active kid.
This time around DD#2 moves nonstop. Last night DH was feeling her roll all over the place and I said she does this all the time. I'm really worried..

Re: Movement - difference between baby #1 and baby#2
I am having a sort of similar experience. I felt DD1, but not nearly as much as DD2. But, my placenta was in a different place last time and cushioned a lot of the movement. I wouldnt say DD1 is super mellow/calm or crazy active. As a newborn, she was pretty chill and very sweet, but not the kind of baby that would just lay there by herself in her rocker or anything while she was awake. She wanted/needed stimulation or interaction always. She did sleep for long stretches, though. We'll see how DD2 is. Her movements feel much stronger and more constant. Both babies did/do tend to sleep in--till about 7:30/8 :)

Re: Movement - difference between baby #1 and baby#2
I find that DS moved a lot more then this baby, also my placenta is in a different position this time. I find that I'm feeling DS#2 more these days, but you can see/feel less of the movement from the outside.
