Movements & Kicks have calmed down

I am 32wks and my baby has calmed down alot these past few days. I was so used to him being very active all day and at night. His kicks were hard and my stomach would shake like an earthquake. I do feel him move but not as strong as he used to. Some people say that maybe he is running out of room. Is this happening to anyone right now? Thanks!!!

Re: Movements & Kicks have calmed down

I am only a couple weeks ahead of you and I can tell you she def calmed down a bit. Even more now than when I was 32 weeks, (i am 35 weeks)

If i get worried, I know its horrible, but I move my tummy around to get her to wake up. If she doesn't wake up I drink something sweet and go lie on my left side. That works everytime.

Its normal for the baby to slow down, they are running out of room. Try not to worry, its OK.
Im not having this yet but dont forget my uterus is measuring a month ahead so she obviously still has plenty of room in there and is quite active.

Re: Movements & Kicks have calmed down

Actually, I am 36 weeks and I think my baby moves more now that in the past few months. I don't know if it is because I can feel it more since it is tighter in there for the baby, but I now feel movement almost all day long, where it used to be only at certain times. Weird!

Drink OJ at night. I heard that gets them going. Mine moves around sometimes when I eat the sweet things, and I feel it more when I lay on my left side...

My doc said instead of those hard kicks and punches, you'll feel rolling from side to side more because the baby is running out of room in there.
