Movie theatre in Farmingdale... this place any good?
So a movie I want to see is playing in limited release, but it is showing at...
National Amusements Farmingdale Multiplex Cinemas Showtimes 1001 Broad Hollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735
Is this a good theatre? Does it have stadium seating? I'm very picky about my theatres and know nothing about Suffolk.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Movie theatre in Farmingdale... this place any good?
there are two movie theaters on 110 in Farmingdale.
the Farmingdale Multiplex (with the address you posted) is in the shopping center with Dave and Busters and Home Depot, that one is good but not all the theaters are statium seating.
then there is the United Artists Farmingdale Stadium 10 which is a bit further south on 110 (it has a drive through starbucks in the parking lot ). that one is all stadium seating.
they are both nice, i prefer the UA 10 because of the stadium seating but that's it.

I agree with Lori... but wan tto add that the Mutliplex is a HUGE hangout for kids on the weekends. Went there Friday night to see a movie and it was jam packed.

The Farmingdale Multiplex has half the theatres as standard seating and half as stadium seating--it all depends on what theater your movie is playing, that you will be able to get to see the movie in a stadium setting.
The theatre is fine, but it definitely has a lot of teens there on the wknds, same with the UA theatre in Farmingdale. (That one is all stadium)

I like the Multiplex better. The other one is smaller, has horrible parking and IMO smells lol.

Agree. The parking is TERRIBLE at the smaller theater. You have to factor in time to find a spot and walk to the theater.
Kids will be hanging out at any theater you go to on the weekends. I'd stick with the Multiplex.

Normally I'd agree about the parking issue but teh other night we went to both theaters and the Multiplex was packed and the other one was EMPTY. Ghost town empty.
