Moving a shed? (with a pic)
When we bought the house there was a shed left for us. It is rather big, and it is one of those wood ones. I have no idea why the old owners plopped it in the yard where it is and we want to move it to the other side of the yard in the corner. Anyone know how we can do this? Can we hire a forklift person? Thanks.
I included a picture of the shed from when we moved in so you can see the size.

I am thinking fork lift too but not sure if you can rent one by yourself.

Re: Moving a shed? (with a pic)
we had one in our yard (at my parents) and it was int he back corner...turned out it was the ittiest bit over the property line and when the land behind them got developed, they blew up a big stink, so we had to get a crane or a forklift...some big machine to move it!!!

Re: Moving a shed? (with a pic)
We just moved our shed a couple months ago in order to get the permit for the expansion on our house (they wouldn't issue it until we did). We had a landscaper come in and move it. He did use some type of machine - I didn't see him so I'm not sure what it was.

we rolled ours about 50 feet across our yard by putting it on a big pieces of pvc pipe & pushing it. it was simple & ours is bigger.

This is how my DH would do it and he worked at a shed place for 10 years.

Our backyard though is VERY uneven and hilly... I cant see how the rolling would work. I even suggested that to DH and thats when he said about the uneven land.
I want to hire someone to do it.
For those who said they hired a landscaper... I am going to FM you for their names.
Thank you!
