Happy Friday!!

My search for paint begins! I just got 5 BM samples. I only think 2 of them are possibles out of the 5. What do you think?

2nd one from the left... nantucket fog I think it says... that one goes good.

It seems like the pattern has a hint of green in the blue and the blue paints don't.

Are you trying to match it exactly?

I see you are blue hell like me right now Chat Icon I will tell you that we are painting over Nantucket Fog in our spare room and it's such a pretty blue, just doesn't match DS's bedding.

Yep you are right - the pattern does have a slight green to it.

I was waiting for the bedding to arrive this week and I got impatient and went to the store to by samples this afternoon. I pulled into my driveway and UPS has just delivered the bedding!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon If I had just waited 30 minutes, I would have had a sham to take with me!! The description said Powder Blue, so that's why I really only got blue paints so far!

I think Silver Sage from RH may work but I don't feel like trekking to the mall right now.

THANKS!!

I would go more green/grey green than blue.

PBs powder blue is not a true powder blue. the name is deceiving since there is definitely a good amount of green. i think your best bet is silver sage. either have it mixed in BM or use the BM match (gray wisp) to RHs silver sage. not sure if BMs gray wisp is an exact match but that is what the "experts" on HGTV boards state.

I think second to the left works best. Pretty color, what's it called?

Thanks - I knew there had to be a similar color out there!

Try wedgewood grey - BM. It is really very blue, not grey.

We have a blue-ish shower curtain from PB and bought SO MANY blue BM samples and finally went with wedgewood grey based soley on the paint chip and it is perfect!

Try Kentucky Haze by BM -- it has gray/blue with a hint of green in it.

Re: Moving on to paint....what do you think?

I went to Restoration Hardware and Silver Sage goes pretty much perfectly! They also have a Benjamin Moore Kiosk at RF Mall now, so I brought the sample with me and the Gray Wisp Skew suggested is almost a perfect match! Thanks!!Chat Icon

Re: Moving on to paint....what do you think? UPDATED - I found something!

Christine, I would honestly go with something in the tan family. I think it will be too blue unless you are thinking of an accent wall?

I'm not a decorator at all, but I painted our room a light lavender to go with our purple ish bedding and we regret it.

Just a thought. I think your bedding set is beautiful!

Good luck with your choices, I agree-the first two on the left look good. What's the name of the last one on the right? It looks like white something. I'm trying to find a blue for my living room and that looks really pretty.

Re: Moving on to paint....what do you think? UPDATED - I found something!

We just did the paint in our bedroom to match a bluish green color in the bedding and we ended up going with Benjamin Moore. I know the color we used was available in those little $2 samples so you could try it if you want. It's Palladian Blue. It came out beautiful!
