moving to RVC - Rec center preschool vs others?
Hi all, my family and i are in the process of moving to RVC from brooklyn... a big adjustment for us!
We are trying to decide which preschool to sign my daughter up for. We live closer to Holy Trinity Lutheran school, however the Rec Center offers all day school which I like better. She will be 4 next year. The Lutheran one only has half days (and only afternoons left).
We both work but I am only in the city 3 days a week. We will have a nanny and I worry the Rec center will be too far of a walk for them.
does anyone go to either one and can offer any opinions on if one is a better school vs the other? any one else go there that uses a nanny? (do nannies take kids to other classes there like music/tumbling, etc?)
any advice is appreciated, as we are new to everything here!
thanks!

Re: moving to RVC - Rec center preschool vs others?
My child attend an RVC preschool further from the Rec than Holy Trinity (so even less convenient for you) but I have heard good things about Holy Trinity and liked it when I visited. I havent met anyone who goes to school at the Rec. Most people seem to either go to Holy Trinity, St Mark's, United or Jacobs Ladder. We chose one in walking distance of my house and we're happy with it. My nanny does take my kids to classes at the Rec all the time and they love it.
Feel free to FM me with questions. Good luck with the move!
