Re: mp3 players and Ipods
I don't know a TON about all the different mp3 players but I LOVE my iPOD - also -when you make your music library - it's on your computer so you can listen to all the songs right on your computer. If you do end up getting an iPOD - go to macmall.com - the prices are SO much better than in the store - I got great deals on there!

Re: mp3 players and Ipods
OMG.. ok.. My DH told me that he wants one for his b-day-- 12/6...
One of the big things that I learned.. was that the mp3 player needs to be compatible with your computer system. I have a DINOSAUR computer with windows 98SE..lol.. It was very hard to find one that was compatible. I found a few at Circuit city that I liked, but I was not thrilled.. I JUST went to wal-mart and they have a 5GB mp3 player on sale for $178 its got the radio tuner and everything.. so I put it on layaway!! I am so excited.. My thinking was at 5gb I wont have to upgrade as quickly as I would have to if I bought a 1GB..It holds 2500 songs.. And its compatible with my system and up, so even if I buy a new computer, it will still work!!!
Heres the link to the one I bought today.. MP3

Re: mp3 players and Ipods
Ipods are the best IMO> they're the easiest to use and they're the only players that will play songs from iTunes, which is also really easy to use. I;e had my iPod for 1.5 years and I LOVE it. I have the mini, which I think they don't make anymore, but they have a lot of different price ranges, from the shuffle all the way up to the huge one with video.

Re: mp3 players and Ipods
My Ipod is Ok. I'm sure there are other MP3 players that are better out there. However, ifyour DH is a tivo addict (like me), Tivo will soon let you download shows onto your Ipod. Very cool!
