MRI
I am so upset. I had to go to the hosiptal yesterday because I lost my peripheal (SP) vision, and then my left arm and the left side of my lips went numb. It was very scary. This happened about 4 years ago, but came with a severe headache. This time no headache, and because I am pregnant, of course I was extra nervous. So we went over to the hospital. We were there for about 10 hours. I had to have an MRI and an MRV done. I was so nervous that it would be harmful to the baby--even though I spoke with about 10 drs who reassured me....anyway, everything came back normal, I just have to follow up today.
Even though it came back normal, and of course I am relieved, now I am feeling guilty that I had it done

Re: MRI
When is your next sono? It's always reassuring to go for one after you're nervous about something like that. If all those doctors said it was ok then I'm sure it was - they don't want a lawsuit and I'm sure they wouldn't purposely do anything to harm you or your baby.

Re: MRI
It sounds like a migraine although I couldn't tell you without seeing you. PG can make them worse.
I had the same thing happen to me a few times. Scary as anything. As long as it doesn't happen a lot everything should be fine. ETA: no harm will come to your baby since all the action is in the brain.

Thank you! I have to go for an EEG on saturday, but being that that stays in the brain as well, Im sure it will be fine.
