Mt furniture is still not in and Im due in 15 days! **UPDATE**
BBB is giving me the runaround AGAIN
Its been 13 weeks andnothing
I called 6 weeks ago and they told me it would be in June 30th. I called June 30th and they told me it would be in today. I call today and NOW its not due until the 31st, which means it wont get to their store until the end of the first weekf of August and I am due August 1st!
I spoke to the manager and he was being a a**hole to me!! I hung up because I was so upset
I asked why I keep getting different dates when I call and he said that no one should have told me that. And it was HIM he told us those dates. MY Dh called all those time and asked to speak to the Manager! The saleswoman told us that it would take 12 weeks AT THE MOST. She said they tell you that just in case. She told us most of the time it comes in at 8 weeks. Tomorrow will be 14 weeks since we ordered it
Seamuss room is just filled with boxes because I have no where to put his things! THe only place I can change him is his pack and play, and he does have a bassinett (thank god) but all his clothes are washed and are in big rubbermaid containers. I will have to change him out of those! Im so p*ssed!!
**UPDATE**
So the manager called DH and told him he would see if any other BBB have the pieces. Lo and behold, BBB in Huntington has 3 of the 4 pieces we ordered (Crib, tall dresser and bottom of hutch - the only piece we have to wait for is the top hutch) I told him they better not be display pieces, etc. He said someone cancelled the order and they have the pieces in stock. They have to ship to the Garden City store, and they SAID they would be delivered next Friday, the 25th. They only ship to and from stores once a week, so we have to wait until Monday for that to happen. Then the next possible day they have for someone to deliver and assemble is the 25th. Hopefully Seamus doesnt decide to make an appearance before then!

GRRR, I'd be so upset. I would stop calling the store and call corporate offices asap. This has gotten out of hand especially since you're getting the run around.

Which manufacturer did you go with? Some of them run notoriously behind schedule.

Make sure you get discounts from this! We ordered from BBB in November and the dresser came by Xmas but his crib didn't come until after he was born in late March! I didn't need it but I made it sound like I did so everytime I called I'd get 10% off, free set-up, etc. We ended up saving a lot of $$!
Sorry you have to deal with this

We ordered it back in the beginning of April and said that AT the most it would be 14 weeks. We are just past that now

Hmm. I would call the office back. Ask them to conference with the manufacturer and find out what the hold up is. I know that Mother Hubbards Cupboard is notorious for being a month past schedule, but I have not heard of Westwood having such problems. Ask them also if they can place a rush while they have the manufacturer on the phone.

that stinks!!
we just got  's room set up last week- i also had all of the washed clothes in the rubbermaid containers and we were just going to use the pack n play if it wasnt done in time... everyone kept telling me that the baby wouldnt notice- but i noticed and it added SO much stress and anxiety...

As frustrating as this sounds (and pizzed you absolutely should be) the baby will not even need the furniture in the beginning. You will be OK with just a bassinet in your room (or in the baby's room if you prefer). You can change the baby on your bed or in a PnP.
I don't believe in bringing anything into our home until after the baby is here so I will not have a nursery set up up either (we did this with DS too and it worked out just fine). It turned out OK.
As far as dealing with the store though, demand a discount. It is crazy that they are giving you a run around
