This is such an interesting disease. I cannot imagine dealing w/ this on a daily basis. I feel so bad for this girl I have 2 kids in my class w/ this but their ticks are so minor.

I saw maybe oprah there was a teacher who had tourettes. I thought that was so great. He tells his class about it and teaches them about it. how he makes noises and stuff,
I think he said he went on 39 interviews until the principal of the school he is at gave him a chance. He has won teacher of the year awards and stuff.

i TOTALLY agree. me and dh are sitting here and she keeps acting a certian way then pulling the tS card.... dh is like "TS isnt making her act like that!"
her friend said it best... its a disease, not an excuse to be a bytch.

i once had a student w/ tourrettes.
we had a system where if she felt the tics coming on, she'd ask to get a drink of water and could leave the room w/ out calling too much attention to herself.

I am watching the tourette's one right now and I hate this girl.
I feel really badly for her that she has the disease but she is absuing everyone around her.
