Mud Room/Laundry Area ideas needed..

We have a nice area off our kitchen that has our washer & dryer. I was just telling DH over the weekend that I want to put either some shelving or an area where I can hang wet items to dry them (some of my things I don't use the dryer for).

Can anyone help me???

we have a mudroom on the first floor.
our house is not finished yet, but we are tiling that room, and there is a double closet and a single closet and a side entrance.

We will probably put the shelving in the closet.

our laundry room is on the 2nd floor,and we will need some shelving in there as well.

You should check out the www.Containerstore.com. They do not have a store on LI, but the online store is great. They actually will design you some organization shelving etc... for free. I did mine and I love it. I also used them for all the closets in my house. And sometimes I get them to design a space and then copy it at Home Depot using closet maid stuff. Though I realized I wasn't saving any money and it was easier to have them mail the whole kit to me.
