Multiple toddler play places

Hi,

I have 2 DS's 3 & 2 yrs old. I am a SAHM and I'm in desperate need for some advice / suggestions. I am looking for things to do outside of the house during the cold months. I know that there are a number of threads regarding this topic. The problem is I'm alone 99% of the time. My DH works a lot, I don't have a mom or siblings. My ILs are very devoted to the boys ( Thank God) but they are, to some extent, physically limited so I can't always rely on them to help. I have a few Momma friends but I can't base my schedule on theirs all the time. So I am looking for some suggestions / advice on places to take them that aren't huge and I can keep an eye on 1 while I chase after the other.

Once Upon A Tree Top and Imaginations At Play are fantastic but way too big for me to go to alone. I already have the Library and My Gym on my list. I was hoping for some other places that I haven't come across yet.

TIA!

You mentioned what I was going to say. Maybe join a meet up group in your area and plan play dates.

Kidville has 2 classes that are meant for "1 lap 2 kids". One is called Rocking Railroad which is a music class and the other is called Wiggle and Giggle which is a mix of activity.

Abigail Bottoms in Patchogue is the perfect size. They have open play in Abby's Village, it's cute for little ones that age.

Abigail Bottoms is perfect bc it's small and contained but cute. They aren't open for play very often though. There's also the Original Mommy and Me in the same office park which I hear good things about.
The Patchogue Y has a new indoor play area if you join. They also have babysitting if you are interested in the gym.
The library would be my first suggestion though. The classes are usually contained and meant for little kids so no big deal if they are prone to getting into mischief!

in addition to going to the library, check out your library pass offerings
many of them have passes you sign out for admission to the LICM, Intrepid and a few other museums.

Wood Kingdom in Farmingdale is fairly small. They have some indoor jungle gyms & blow ups to play on.

bounce u in farmingdale has preschool play date every friday 10-12. Includes open play and a snack and juice at the end. I brought my 1 year old and 2 year old all summer by myself. The rooms are pretty small and its closed so they are contained. It never really gets crowded (today there were only about 3 or 4 other kids there).

Kidville! The rooms are small, and the classes are great.
