Music Together for babies?
I saw on a Music Together website that the babies class is for infants under 6 months. What do they do in these classes with such young babies, and what age is "old enough" to attend? TIA!

Re: Music Together for babies?
We started them around 7 months with my son Connor, the youngest baby was 5 months. The classes are mixed ages, so we were in a class of about 12 kids, ages ranging from 5 months to 3 yrs. At first I thought he seemed a little too young, but he was mesmerized by the music teacher and all of the songs. They bring out instruments, colorful scarves, drums, all different things that stimulate them. For the songs where you get up and participate I would hold him and bounce to the music or just tap his belly. Most of the time I would just hold Connor in my lap and sway with him to the songs. Now he is 11.5 months and claps and bounces to the songs from class, he totally recognizes them! They offer trial classes, you should try one before signing up. We did and loved it!
They also clean and wipe down all of the shared objects. My baby was always putting the instruments in his mouth, they give you alcohol wipes to clean everything, then they clean them again after class.
