1. The best teething ring I found to be was this one- Baby Einstein $3.99 (got mine at Walgreens)
2. Infant Tylenol Drops - to be given for pain and if baby is running fever with teething.
3. Baby Orajel® – Teething Pain Medicine
4. Anything cold – frozen teething rings, rub an ice cube along baby's gums. Frozen juice slushy or popsicles. Cold spoons, frozen bagel or banana. A frozen washcloth to **** on.

This is the perfect time to break out those silver rattles you got at your baby shower. While they're really cute - the point of them is to help with teething. The cold metal is perfect for sore gums.
I would also freeze a wet washcloth & pick up some orajel.

Re: Must have teething essentials?
My mom got Sydney the best thing at the 99cents store. It is a teether that looks like an ice cream cone. The ice cream part is rubbery like the teething rings and the cone is plastic and has a hole so she can hold it herself. She cant hold the teething rings herself so this is great.
