My 17 week Marathon Training Program
This is the organization I trained and ran the marathon with. I loved it and will probably do it again next year.
My only advice is that you should have a base of 5 miles of constant running before entering this program. They say you don't need it but I think if you don't have it, it will be very hard to keep up and stay injury free.
Let me know if you have any questions. By the way, there were about a thousand of us who ran the marathon from this team. 500 from NY with many Long Islanders. The other half were from other parts of the country and followed the program but did trained on their own.
