My 25 week appointment
Well I gained 7lbs last month . The doc walked in and I said I was hungry and there was a lot of candy around and he said so you don't need a lecture and I said "nope, I already know"
I get another sono on the 28th of nov. to see where my placenta is in relation to the c-section incision.
This time he gave me more reassurance about the possibility of placenta accreta. He said since I dont have previa and since on the 20 wk sono the placenta wasn't low lying or marginal that there is only about a 5% chance of PA
I wanted to hug him. I love that doc!!

I had gained NINE at my 25 week appointment and my doctor never complains about my weight. As long as you within range a large weight gain occasionally is ok.

7 pounds is not a lot. I gained 6 at my last one and I thought I was going to be in trouble. Nurse said they like to tell the patients 35lbs the whole pregnancy is good. Im right in range.
I weighed myself last night..AFter eating pizza and from my last appt. 3 weeks ago Im up 1.5 lbs.
I go back next Thurs. Hopefully it will still be 1.5lbs. Im trying to be careful, but, sometimes it's hard.

Great news. I've been gaining 4 to 5 at my weeklys.
Thank god I have height on my side!

Thanks guys, but in the past 2 months I have gained 12lbs. I feel so fat, although my stomach is HUGE now. I blame the baby!

In my second trimester, I put on almost 40 lbs...all in my second trimester! Dr flipped...I have been losing weight though in my 3rd

I wish I could believe you At 25 weeks I have gained 22lbs and the baby weighs about 1lb and placenta and fluid I give that another 5 so I have an extra 16lbs on me
