My angel is 7 weeks old today!!
She got her shots today too. She is up to 9lbs 14 oz and 23 1/8 inces long. We love her sooo much. She has been very tough the past few weeks. She has her days and nights confused and nothing we do to straighten that out has worked. She has reflux, which keeps her up at night. She no longer sleeps in her crib, even with an incline it hurts her, so she sleeps in her swing. We started her on rice cereal in her bottle to try and help with the reflux. We are on our fifth formula now (knock on wood) that seems to be working well. She has bad gas, which we are giving her mylecon at every feeding. And she is just now finally going poopies on her own. When she was on the soy formula, it was binding her up and she needed me to push her legs back to go. Finally, with the new milk-based formula she is regulating again.
But with all the troubles we've had, she is still our perfect angel. Her adorable smiles every morning make us forget the fact that we only had an hours sleep the night before. She is lifting her head for long periods of time on her own. She is starting to grab and hold on to stuff in her hands. She is also starting to laugh a bit and make adorable little sounds. She loves loves loves my hair. She loves to play with it, watch me blow dry it, she loves hair. I can not imagine my life without her.
