post here! post a pic-what kind of dog is it?
facebook pages:
hurricane sandy lost and found pets; dog rescues; vet hospital pages; <---ask them all to courtesy post for you
there is also an amber alert for dogs
post on craigslist and check craigslist for found dogs
call all local animal hospitals and shelters
post signs around local neighborhoods
good luck
also post on the town's 'patch' page
