My aunt passed away
After 9 long years of battling cancer, my Aunt Roann died this morning. She had some really good times during the periods of remission, but when the cancer came back this year - in her lungs this time - it was too much for her body to handle. She was the strongest person I have EVER known. She taught me not only how to survive, but how to live and love life. I'm just so grateful that she got to meet my daughter. And in those last few agonizing weeks, it's been Shana who has made her smile and even laugh. I will miss her terribly. I love you Aunt Roann.
