My baby boy moves like CRAZY--ALL OF THE TIME, 32 weeks

Granted I know little about pregnancy. I thought I would feel kicks here and there, but this kidChat Icon
He is the next Michael Flately. Last night he Riverdanced like I have never seen him.

Do you guys feel this much movement?

My last appointment, my doctor expressed I should be feeling him every six hours. I feel this kid EVERY SIX MINUTES.

This is normal, right?

Chat Icon Yes, it is normal, and it will start to slow down when he starts to lose some more room. As for now, enjoy it, it really is the best feeling, and you'll miss it once you give birth, I know I did.

I do!

I'll be 34 weeks on Saturday and this baby moves A LOT. Granted s/he has his/her sleep cycles so I do have stretches of not feeling lots of movement. But when this baby moves, she/he moves!!!!

Its funny..I actually got nervous b/c my little boy was moving sooo much. I thought maybe he was in distress or something.

It's amazing but at 36 weeks now I tell him to calm down and give mommy and mommy's bladder a rest!!!Chat Icon

My baby does too - it just really started this past week that it's constant!!!

DH has been sitting with his hand on my stomach anytime I mention it and he's like how do you sleep with all of that going on inside you!!!

If you push in a spot, the baby will kick you back as well.

Yup...my DS was totally the same way in utero. They say that the patterns the fetus display in utero are similar to how the baby will be when he is out i.e. sleeping patterns, movement (read High energy) and I must tell you this was exactly true for my son!

Re: My baby boy moves like CRAZY--ALL OF THE TIME, 32 weeks

34 weeks and my Chat Icon just doesn't sleep!!! It's non stop activity. This baby is not affected by eating, drinking or movement. There are a couple of lulls here and there, but nothing that lasts too long. I absolutely love this feeling. And recently, my belly began doing the wave. I guess it's when the baby is rolling over, my entire stomach looks like there's an alien underneath or like lava is rolling across it. Sometimes I even flinch so powerfully if I get a "big, little" fist in my side. I heard that these are all signs of a healthy baby, but sometimes I can't help but think that maybe he/she is uncomfortable.

I am not a sweets person, but he tends to move the most at night, or if I am relaxing

DC #1 was like that. I am 2 years PP and still have soreness in my belly. DC kicked the cr@p out of my right side.

i was reading that this is normal for the baby because your movements during the day (like walking and working) are soothing for the baby, so that can help him fall asleep.. then when you're just relaxing or watching tv... he's up - kwim? that's totally how it is for me too!

Its normal, enjoy! You will start feeling less movement the bigger he gets...unless he is going to nudge you with his elbows constantly...its an amazing feeling!Chat Icon

Yep at 37 weeks, he moves all the time. People keep saying it will slow down, but no slowing yet. My doctors say there is no such thing as too much movement!

that was also very true with ds...i worked nights and he was extremely flipped with his sleeping and eating when he was first born.... he ate every 2 hours at night at the exact time that i ate....

he was sooooo actuve inutero and forget it, this kid moves from sunrise to sunrise and never let us swadle him because he had to be free to move ... when i was pumping and he was sttn i would wake up every three hours to pump, check on him and he was in a different spot, even when i went down stairs and back up

now this baby is even more active so i am in big trouble

At almost 32 weeks, my Chat Icon is so active too. The baby moves constantly and they are big movements, my stomach is always shifting. Its great but at night when I am trying to sleep, it keeps me up. I was also wondering if it is normal for the baby to be moving this much and the doctor said its perfectly normal and good.

When I was pregnant From 31 weeks until the moment I checked into the hospital for my inducement at 39 weeks, she moved non-stop. It was like a party in there.
